Happy National Mentoring Month!

Let me start by introducing one of my friends and mentors, Regine Beauboeuf. She is a triple “S” woman: skilled, savvy, and sassy (oh yes). Licensed professional engineer, Senior Vice President, and National Board Director for the Conference on Minority Transportation Officials, Regine is a woman of excellence that takes no prisoners in Michigan (or elsewhere for that matter). I met Regine in a prior role at a previous company and she kept me accountable. For Black History Month, she will be co-moderating a series of audio segments with me to prod how to empower the next generation of professionals in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Our audio cast, Gears in Motion, will intentionally uncover stories and barriers faced in the industry and provoke ideas and opportunities for how to drive your career forward.
